First of all, I laughed WAY more than I should now.

Second, I'm not AGAINST theme days, but I think we should do something better with them. How about Transmission Thursday, where the theme is not a picture or five of a gearbox, but one were the participants must write a piece about how a certain type of transmission works?

Or Alternative Fuel Mondays?

And Fridays could be Casual Friday, where people can make single image posts, or a post with music? Or.. or..

You know, this idea sounded better in my head.

I'm not 100% against theme days. I love speak like a pirate day. And Sean Connery day is always good for laughs. And themes where we learn something... those are always nice. Because it's more than just, here's a picture that I found that resembles these other found internet images.

I like the concept of your approach. I just don't know how to redirect everyone to that.

Yeah, as I said, the idea sounded better in my head. I think some of us just have to start writing articles that are themed or something.
